Mother's Day Wish - Jen

The name of this cute image available in the store is Mother's Day Wish.
The reason I have chosen to showcase it here today is not because it's so very sweet (which it is!), but because it's one of Tammy's images that just cannot be defined by its label.  Look how beautifully this image works on a Christmas Card!

The image was colored using alcohol markers and a white gel pen, and matted onto gold backing paper.  I have no fancy embellishments, just a couple pf star sequins and gold beads.

Tammy's beautifully drawn images are so detailed in their simple lines, and sometimes a CAS card is just what is needed to showcase her talent.

Thanks for joining us at the A Day for Daisies blog today - have you remembered to enter our November Challenge?

The theme is

  Add Some Burlap (or Kraft)

and you have just over a week left to enter.

Keep Creating!

Flower Frame - Jen

Hello there, and greetings from me, Jen, all the way from Durban on the East Coast of South Africa.
It's my turn to showcase one of the beautiful images from the A Day for Daisies store.

This image is called Flower Frame, and I chose it to remind you of just how pretty this simple image really is.

To create my card I printed the image onto the apricot coloured textured cardstock, then overprinted with a digital script background paper.  After fussy cutting the image, and cutting out the inside of the frame, I mounted it onto the same coloured cardstock on which a sentiment had been printed.

The frame was printed a second time, also onto the same cardstock, and some of the flowers were fussy cut and mounted on the fame, using foam tape.

Please take a look at the Flowers section in the store, amble down the aisles, and pick yourself some of the beauties to add to your basket.

Keep creating, one daisy at a time!

A Thankful Heart - Jen Leeflang

Hi there - I am Jen and live in South Africa where we don't celebrate Thanksgiving - but we should!
It's my turn to share a project featuring a beautiful image from the A Day for Daisies store.

I have chosen "A Thankful Heart" - isn't she gorgeous - because she is a reminder that we should all count our blessings every day and be thankful for all that we have, rather than grumble about what we don't have.

If you'd like more info on how my card was created as well as some more close-up pics, please hop on over to my blog.

Thanks for visiting the A Day for Daisies blog today, and remember, this month's challenge is to add burlap and/or kraft - you can view the challenge here.
